Recently, 2015 Niche Rankings (www.niche.com) published something that our residents have known for years: Tower Lakes is one of the best places to live.
In their most current ranking, Niche, a website that typically ranks the best colleges and universities, listed best neighborhoods in the country. In the category entitled, “Best Suburbs in the Chicago Metro Area,” Tower Lakes ranked 4th, behind Glencoe (1), Clarendon Hills (2) and Winnetka (3). The ranking criteria include: livability (using grades for weather), safety, schools, and access to activities, jobs, housing, and transportation. A high ranking indicates that a suburb offers a high quality of life to its residents.
Tower Lakes also ranked 4th on the overall state ranking and 96 on the national ranking. Way to go Tower Lakes!
